Find and compare cards
A catalogue of sets and printings should help distinguish similar releases. Marketplace listings remain seller offers, not verified physical card identities.
MORE CONTEXT. BETTER CARD PURCHASES.
TradeMancer is being developed for collectors who want to understand a trading card and its listing before continuing to the seller.
We bring card-catalogue knowledge, listing information and clearly labelled price evidence into a more understandable research tool. Our initial focus is Pokémon cards.
This is a project presentation. Search, analysis and collection features are being tested in an internal prototype and are not yet publicly available.
WHAT WE ARE BUILDING
Our goal is to save collectors time and help them compare alternatives without hiding uncertainty.
A catalogue of sets and printings should help distinguish similar releases. Marketplace listings remain seller offers, not verified physical card identities.
Saved price-guide history is kept separate from asking prices. Comparable completed sales will only be used when the source, usage rights and exact card version are established.
Photo-based estimates should highlight visible details and limitations. Hidden damage, authenticity and the final grade cannot be determined reliably from listing photographs.
A SERVICE THAT SHOWS ITS LIMITS
We are developing search, comparison and analysis to support the collector’s own decision. An uncertain match must remain clearly uncertain.
Price evidence should retain its source, currency, variant and date. An asking price is not a completed-sale price.
Unresolved card versions stay separate from verified matches. A customer’s selection for their own card does not establish a verified match for everyone.
A photo estimate is not a physical inspection, authentication, guaranteed grading outcome or promise of future value.
We plan to use affiliate links to external marketplaces. A qualifying purchase following a referral may then earn us a commission. Such integrations will only be enabled after the required approvals, with clearly labelled affiliate links.
Remuneration must not influence the price assessment or ranking of comparable offers. Purchases, payments, delivery and seller terms are handled on the relevant marketplace by the seller and marketplace.
